LeapGen IIT Accelerator successfully launched its Guest Speaker Series under the LeapX Program with its first session held on 17 October 2025 at the IIT City Campus.

The session featured Sharmilan Somasundaram, Co-founder & CEO of Niftron, Researcher, and Certified Blockchain Solution Architect, who shared valuable lessons and reflections from five years of running a startup.

Under the theme “If I Had to Start Again: What 5 Years of Running a Startup Taught Me”, the session explored real-world entrepreneurial experiences, challenges, lessons learned, and perspectives that can help founders and aspiring entrepreneurs navigate their own startup journeys.

The session provided the LeapGen startup community with an opportunity to learn directly from an experienced entrepreneur and gain practical insights into the realities of building and growing a startup.
